Pricing & Payments
Who pays for hosting and domain costs?
Platform and domain costs are yours directly — we never bill them through MhaidWeb. This keeps ownership of those accounts clean and in your name from day one.
Can I switch from Foundation to Growth later?
Growth runs on a full platform build (Squarespace or Shopify), while Foundation is a lighter, leaner setup — so moving up usually means rebuilding on the new platform rather than just adding features to what's there. We'll walk you through exactly what that involves before anything starts.
Who owns the website?
On platform-based builds, the site is built and hosted under our account while the engagement is being set up and paid for — this is standard and keeps everything running smoothly on our end. Once your project is fully paid, ownership transfers to your own account. On Foundation builds, if you ever move on, we hand over your site files so you can host them anywhere. Ad accounts and analytics are always set up under your own accounts, never ours.
Working Together
What happens on our first call?
A free 30-minute strategy call — no pitch deck, no pressure. We'll talk through your business, where things stand right now, and what you're hoping to achieve. Based on that, you'll get a clear recommendation on what actually fits — Foundation, Growth, Partner, or sometimes something outside that structure entirely — with no obligation to move forward.
Is it really just you?
Yes. Every project goes through Ahmad directly — strategy, build, and ongoing management. No account managers, no work quietly handed off to someone else. That's a deliberate choice: it means faster turnaround, fewer miscommunications, and a partner who actually knows your business rather than a rotating team.
I already have a website — can you improve it instead of rebuilding from scratch?
Sometimes, yes — it depends on the platform and how the existing site was built. A rebuild is often the better path, especially when moving between platforms, but not every project starts from zero. We'll be upfront about which makes more sense for your situation before recommending either one.
Do you only do ongoing retainers, or one-time projects too?
Most engagements become ongoing, month-to-month partnerships — that's where the real value compounds over time. That said, the initial build itself is naturally project-based work with a clear start and finish. What continues after is the ongoing management — SEO, ads, support — for as long as it makes sense for your business.
Technical
Can I edit the website myself?
On Growth and Partner, yes — your site runs on a full CMS, and you're free to add pages, content, and blog posts whenever you like. A few things built with custom code may still need our hand, but we're always happy to guide you or make the change directly. Foundation doesn't include self-serve editing — changes go through us, which is part of what keeps it fast to build and priced the way it is.
What platforms do you build on?
Mainly Squarespace for Growth and Partner-tier builds, and Shopify for e-commerce-focused projects. Foundation uses a lean, fast, cost-efficient setup built for quick turnaround. The specific platform matters less than the result — we'll recommend whichever fits your business, not whichever is easiest for us.
Do you handle e-commerce sites?
Yes. E-commerce builds — including bilingual and multi-market setups — are a regular part of the work, typically on Shopify.
Getting Started
Do you work with businesses outside Jordan and the US?
The strongest track record so far is with businesses in Jordan and the US, but the work isn't limited to those markets. If you're elsewhere and think this could be a fit, reach out — we'll have an honest conversation about whether it makes sense.
Do you offer services in both Arabic and English?
Yes — bilingual work is central to a lot of what we build, especially for clients in Jordan. Site content, copywriting, and ad campaigns can all be developed in either language, or both.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope. A Foundation site can often launch in 1–2 weeks. A full Growth-tier build — or something more involved, like a multi-market e-commerce launch — typically takes 4–6 weeks from kickoff. The biggest factor is usually how quickly content and approvals come back on your end.
